One week ago I landed in Lima! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and for all of the encouragement that's gotten me this far. It's amazing to be here! Sometimes I can't believe I haven't just gotten lost in some part of the States that I don't recognize. Lima is a very large city: 7 million people. The people and the food are fabulous. There are a million little differences, some easy, some frustrating, but I'm enjoying getting to know my new surroundings. Here is my new favorite bush! I don't know what the name is, but I'll add it once I've learned it in my Spanish lessons!
